Teams must register in the age groups decided by the oldest player on the roster. The WMSC is an MSYSA-sanctioned event and follows the age group chart following the August 1st to July 31st Age Group formation cycle.

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
All registration requirements must be submitted for approval/completed by Monday, August 24. For step-by-step instructions to complete each, please view the sections below.

The electronic player waiver is completed through EventConnect and is sent to players once a coach or manager enters their information into the team dashboard.
STEPS TO COMPLETE
Log in to event connect using the email used to register the team.
Once in the ‘team dashboard’, select ‘Team’ on the left hand side.
Under the ‘Roster’ section, select the ‘Add Member’ button on the right hand side.
Select ‘Player’ and enter all player information. Hit ‘Save’ in the bottom right-hand corner.
A waiver is sent to the email attached to the player’s name that must be completed and accepted.
The waiver link can also be shared via text or email to players’ guardians from the team dashboard.

Coach and player documents will be uploaded digitally through SportsForms. Contacts who are listed on the team’s account will receive the link from SportsForms for upload.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
Player Documents
Player pass card for each rostered player for the 2026-27 year
Official color copy of cards with a photograph for each player, from the current season.
Team roster for the Fall 2026-27
Copy of your current official league roster, signed by the league registrar.

Risk Management card
For all coaches and team officials that will be on the player sidelines. Must not be older than 1 year at completion of the tournament.
Heads-Up Concussion Certification
All coaches, team officials, adult members, etc. who intend to be on the sidelines with the team need a completed CDC Heads-Up Concussion Certification.
SafeSport Certification
All coaches, team officials, adult members, etc. who intend to be on the sidelines with the team must have a valid “SafeSport Trained” certification.
