REQUIREMENTS

The following items are mandatory for all registered teams to be completed by coaches / managers. Teams that do not meet these requirements will be deemed ineligible to compete.

All requirements must be completed by December 3 at 12:00 PM.

    • Payment must be completed online through HTG account.

    STEPS TO COMPLETE PAYMENT

    1. Login to HTG with username/password used to register team

    2. Select ‘My Sports’ in the dropdown in the upper right hand

    3. Select ‘Not Paid’ to the right of the team’s name

    4. Select ‘Make a Payment

    NOTE: For Club Directors/Admins looking to pay by one club check, please contact events@michiganfutbolacademy.com. Only approved circumstances by WMF staff will allow physical checks to be accepted.

  • This section must be completed online through HTG account. This is a requirement in addition to the ‘Online' Check-In’ requirement.

    STEPS TO COMPLETE

    • Login to HTG account - CLICK HERE

      • Use the email/password used to register the team

      • Select ‘My Sports’ in the dropdown in the upper right hand

      • Select the team under ‘My Teams’

    • To Enter HTG Roster…

      • Select ‘Manage’ next to ‘Players’ in the blue banner. Begin by adding players to the ‘Master Player List’. Select ‘Add Player’ & enter player information to create your Master Player List.

      • After all players are entered in the Master Player List, assign them to the team.

      • From the ‘My Sports’ page, click on the team for which you want to add players. You will be taken to the ‘Team Detail’ page.

      • Click on the ‘Manage’ to the right of ‘Players’.

      • From your ‘Master Player List’, select the player to be added to the roster. They will appear in the “Players Assigned to the Team” list once selected.

      • Select ‘Save’ after all players are selected.

    • To Complete Player Waivers…

      • Once players are added to the ‘Players Assigned to Team’, an e-mail is automatically sent to the parent/guardian with instructions to complete the tournament waiver and USYF Player Fee.

      • Players are not approved to compete until the tournament waiver is accepted. and the $15 for the USYF Player Fee is paid.

  • Player documents must be submitted for approval by the tournament admin through HTG online check-in.

    • Login to your account - CLICK HERE

    • Select ‘My Sports’ in the dropdown in the upper right hand

    • Scroll down to the section titled ‘Documents’

    • Select ‘Add Documents’

      • ONE .pdf file should be uploaded containing ALL player cards. Do not upload individual player documents.

    The following are required to be submitted via HTG Online Check-In for each competing player.

    • Accepted Player Documents (proof of age)

      • 2024-25 player card

      • Birth certificate with photo ID

      • Passport

    *NOTE: This section is for uploading proof of age for approval. Teams are required to check-in at the facility in person.

  • Every official adult member of the team who plans to be on the sidelines during games (coaches, assistant coaches, team managers, etc.) must complete the USYF Background Check process.

    All bench personnel must complete the following steps:

    1. Valid SafeSport Certificate

    2. USYF Background Check

      • MUST use full legal name (no shortened names)

      • The SafeSport certificate is required to be uploaded

    Once the Background check is submitted, USYF will receive a notfication of the pending approval. If there is an issue regarding the status of the background check, a WMF staff member will reach out to the email attached to the legal name in HTG. For your record, save a copy of the background check submission.

    COMPLETE SAFESPORT CERTIFICATE

    • For first time users, enroll in the free course - CLICK HERE

      • Full legal name must be used and match USYF Background Check

    • To access previous certificate or complete the refresher course - CLICK HERE

    COMPLETE USYF BACKGROUND CHECK

    ***NOTE: Background checks completed prior (non-USYF Background Checks) are not accepted. All must be completed through the links above.

  • Physical check-in is required at least 1 hour prior to your team’s first game. Teams who do not check-in will not recieve player wristbands and will be ineligible to compete.

    TEAM CHECK-IN DETAILS

      • Friday: 4-9 PM

      • Saturday: 7 AM-2 PM

    ***Teams are able to check-in any time within the time frames.

    • ALL requirements must be completed prior to check-in.

    • The Head Coach or Manager is required to check-in. Players do NOT need to be present

    • Wristbands will be given for all eligible players that must be worn all weekend.

    No exceptions will be made as this is a USYF Sanctioned tournament.

    Do your part in keeping the courts clean and safe for players! Please keep all street shoes and wet shoes off the courts.

    • $545 per team

    • Divisions offered for U8 (2018) - U19 (2007) Boys and Girls.

    • Select and Elite levels of play offered.

    • 3 game minimum guarantee

    • 45 minute games (22-minute halves with 1 minute half-time)

    • 1st and 2nd in each division will receive awards

    • Admission is $10 for spectators 7 years of age and older. The wristband given at admission will be valid for each location all weekend. Coaches, managers, and competing players are free.

  • West Michigan Futsal has partnered with THS to provide quality, affordable lodging for our events! This tournament is not a stay-to-play event, and lodging can be set up individually by clubs/teams as they desire.

      • 3 game minimum guarantee

      • 24-minute halves

      • All matches played on new Sportcourt and newly finished hardwood

    • U9 (2017) - U18 (2008) divisions offered for boys and girls.

    • Two registration options are available: Standard and Silver (non-qualifying).

    SILVER DIVISION

    The Silver Division (NQ) offers teams the full tournament experience in a competitive but non-qualifying format at a lesser price. All NQ divisions follow the same tournament and gameplay structure. Champions and finalists do not earn a bid to USYF Nationals. Medals are awarded.

    • Non-qualifying division (champions do NOT earn a bid to USYF Nationals)

    STANDARD DIVISION

    The Standard Divisions serve as an official USYF Nationals Qualifier, hosted in Grand Rapids, MI. Elite teams from across the region will compete for their chance to secure a Nationals bid.

    • Location: Grand Rapids, MI

    • Level: Elite

    • USYF National-Qualifier (champions earn a bid to USYF Nationals)

    • Standard Registration: $675 per team

    • Silver (NQ) Registration: $600 per team

    • 1st and 2nd in each division will receive awards and earn a bid to USYF Nationals!

    • Admission is $10 for spectators 7 years of age and older. The wristband given at admission will be valid for each location all weekend. Coaches, managers, and competing players are free.

  • US Youth Futsal has partnered with the industry’s leading sports housing company, Tournament Housing Services (THS).

    IMPORTANT NOTICE –Applications from out-of-town teams will not be accepted until a hotel booking is confirmed through our official housing partner, THS, by the registration deadline. We strongly encourage interested teams to proactively secure their accommodations well in advance of this deadline, as any unreserved rooms blocked for the tournament may be released to the general public approximately 3 weeks prior to the event. We also advise designating a single point of contact to manage the team’s accommodations efficiently.

    The first games could take place as early as 2:00 PM on Friday and the last games could take place as late as Sunday 9:00 PM start time. All out-of-town teams will need to book a Friday and Saturday night stay in order to participate in the event.

  • This section must be completed online through the TeamSnap Tournaments account. This is a requirement in addition to the ‘Player Document’ requirement.

    STEPS TO COMPLETE

    Completing your team’s TeamSnap roster is a 2-step process:

    1. Entering the TeamSnap Roster

    2. Players individually accepting the Tournament Waiver/Liability Form sent to email

    STEP 1: ENTER PLAYERS INTO THE TEAM SNAP ROSTER

    STEP 2: ACCEPT ONLINE WAIVER VIA EMAIL

    • Once a player is ‘Invited’ be added to the roster, the WMSC Tournament Waiver/Liability is sent to the email used to register the player.

    • For a player to be approved to compete, this MUST be accepted by accessing the email and accepting the invite.

    MANAGING PLAYER WAIVERS

    • Player waivers/invites can be managed by logging into your TeamSnap account.

    • Players listed under ‘Player Invites’ have been sent the waiver but NOT accepted. You can resend the player waiver by selecting ‘Manage Invite’

    • Players listed under ‘Players’ have accepted the waiver.

  • Player documents must be submitted for approval by the tournament admin via email.

    The following are accepted Player Documents (proof of age) required to be submitted for each competing player.

    STEPS TO COMPLETE

    • Create ONE .PDF file for the team of ALL player documents

    • Email the following to managers@michiganfutbolacademy.com

      • ONE .pdf file containing ALL player cards. Do not upload individual player documents.

      • Include team name and age group/division (ex: U12 Girls Silver)

    • Ensure submitted documents for competing players match the TST roster. The two will be cross-checked for approval/denial by the tournament admin monitoring the inbox.
